After tempting visitors at the Paris Motor Show with them, Volvo has finally put a price on its V40 R-Design and Cross Country models.
The racy R-Design starts at £22,295 for the 1.6-litre diesel version.
The car comes with a re-profiled front bumper and rear diffuser, five-spoke 17-inch alloys, silver matt door mirrors, R-Design embossed upholstery, sports steering wheel and pedals.
V40 R-Designs also gain vertical LED day-running lights and come in six colours - one of which is the stunning "Rebel Blue" which the car debuted with at Paris.
Prices for the sporty Volvo hatchback top out at around £32,000.
For those wanting the rural look, the V40 Cross Country wades in at £22,595.
As standard, the Cross Country SE comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, special seat trim, tread plates and silver roof rails.
The Cross Country can also be specified in Lux trim which gains leather upholstery, larger 17-inch alloys, LED day-running lights and something called "theatre lighting".
The country casuals V40 tops out at around £34,000 for the T5 Geartronic Cross Country Lux Nav with All-Wheel Drive, from £33,875.
Both models are available to order now and first deliveries will begin in January 2013.
