Mourning the departure of Porsche's last Cayenne Turbo S? Never fear - a new one has been released.
Arriving with 550bhp, the Turbo S is based on the Turbo model - adding 50bhp and 50Nm to the specification, while keeping fuel consumption figures the same at 24.6mpg combined. 0-60 is now 0.2 seconds quicker than its sibling too, and the Cayenne S will go on to 175mph - an increase of 2mph.
As befits the fastest Cayenne of the range, the car's exterior has been given a few unique additions. Gloss black grilles, mirrors and headlight housings have all been added, along with 21-inch "911 Turbo II" alloy wheels - designed exclusively for the Turbo S.
Porsche have created some unique interior upgrades too, offering the car with "exclusive" black-on-red or black-on-beige colour schemes.
There's also a suitably sporty "Carbon Interior Package" too - presumably more for appearance purposes than to shave vital grams off the car's post-two-tonne weight.
Interested? You'll want to be sitting down, then, as the Turbo S will be priced from £107,460 when it goes on sale in January. At £20,000 more than the Cayenne Turbo that's a bitter pill to swallow - though we doubt the Rio Ferdinands of this world will be hesitating for too long...
