Top five budget Bond carsMGM/Columbia/EON

Come on... you've always wanted to be James Bond haven't you?

With his good taste in cars, women falling at his feet and access to the best gadgets, it's understandable for any man to hold Bond as his role-model.
And if you've seen the latest Bond film, Skyfall, you'll probably want his set of wheels.

But prices for a good Aston Martin DB5 are upwards of £200,000 - what if you can't spend that on buying a Bond car?

AOL Cars can help here. We've put our thinking caps on and found the Bond cars which you could own tomorrow.

We've put together the five Bond cars you could buy on a budget of no more than £10,000.

Lotus Esprit

Lotus Esprit

After the Aston Martin DB5, it's the Lotus Esprit which is the most remembered Bond car. The car from the boys in Hethel appeared in two Bond films - most famously in The Spy Who Loved Me (yes, the one that went under water) and in For Your Eyes Only where Bond used two Esprit Turbos. The wedge-shaped wonder is remarkably cheap these days. We found an Esprit S3 for a mere £8,995!

BMW Z3BMW

BMW Z3

Throughout the nineties, Bond left his association with Aston Martin and flirted with BMW. Pierce Brosnan was seen in a variety of cars wearing the propeller badge, but the relationship never came close to that of Bond and Aston Martin. In Goldeneye, Bond drove a BMW Z3. Much prized when new, they're dirt cheap now. If you want one, you'll be forking out just £1,300 for a rear-wheel-drive BMW sports car. Buy one in Atlanta Blue with a manual if you can.

Citroen 2CVCitroen

Citroen 2CV

Please don't laugh. Yes, we know this is a Citroen 2CV and stepping out of one wearing a dinner jacket would look hilarious, but JB did drive one so it does classify as a Bond car. Amazingly, Citroen kept the quaint but basic 2CV in production for an astonishing 42 years. By the time Roger Moore drove one in For Your Eyes Only in 1981, the little Citroen was 33 years old and was rather outdated. But they're much sort after now and spray your's yellow and you'll have a classic on your hands.

Ford MondeoFord

Ford Mondeo

If you said James Bond drove a Ford Mondeo to most people 15 years ago, they would have laughed in your face. But, in Casino Royal, he did just that. The filmed marked the first appearance of the new Aston Martin DBS, but Daniel Craig also drove the current Ford Mondeo. It was the first Mondeo which had a whiff of premium-ness about it, and for some strange reason it didn't look out of place in the film. And the best bit is, 2007- Ford Mondeos are easily in our £10,000 budget.

BMW 750iL

Yes, can you believe it? A BMW limousine is in our £10,000 budget - and by a long way it would seem. In Tomorrow Never Dies of 1997, Bond drove a BMW 750iL which, at one point, he controlled by using a smart phone. Naturally, a limousine with a 5.4-litre V12 engine isn't worth much these days, but even we were staggered at the price you can pick up one of these magnificent BMWs for. A search around on the internet resulted in us finding for £1,475! Even Bond wouldn't believe that.
