Their spicy Insignia VXR has just been made even hotter with the launch for a new SuperSports model.
Effectively replacing the Insignia VXR, SuperSport models can reach 170mph yet cost just £29,995.
That's right - the Insignia VXR SuperSport is 15mph faster than the old Insignia VXR, but costs £3,760 less.
In so doing, it becomes the cheapest sub-£30k car which can reach 170mph available on the UK market.
The only real difference to the mechanicals is the removal of the top speed limiter. The SuperSport still uses the 2.8-litre V6 turbo engine which punches out 321bhp, and hurtles to 60mph in 5.4 seconds.
To improve grip at such high speeds, the car gets Vauxhall's HiPerStrut front suspension system.
Visually there's little change; SuperSports get new new brake callipers which now feature blue Brembo lettering, while inside the speedometer has been changed to show the car's extra turn of speed.
Anyone desperate to travel at 170mph can place their order for an Insignia VXR SuperSports at their local Vauxhall dealer now.
