Remember when you were a kid and you figured out how to make your radio controlled car go 'a bit slidey'? It meant you could go 'round the odd corner without having to slow down too much or risk having a head on with the cat.
Have you ever wondered what it would have been like if you'd have practiced your R/C drifting? Well, you can imagine with the aid of YouTube user CornDogShaun as he's spent a lot of time behind the joystick learning to slide his R/C Nissan GT-R around every imaginable surface. It's a sight to behold.
Shaun describes the set up he uses on the video's YouTube page:
Exceed Rc [sic] Madspeed Drift King
Brushless version 3000kv motor
(2) 2000mAh 7.2v NiMH batteries
aluminum wheel hub upgrade (highly recommended)
It looks pretty hardcore and, judging by the vid, rather fun. Though given the choice between drifting and R/C car, being the actual Ken Block or driving an R/C car at 100mph we're a little stumped. How's about remote controlling Ken Block sideways at 100mph? It'd be ambitious to say the least...
Enjoy the video.
