New BMW M5 and M6 models with the addition of a Competition Package will be heading to the UK later this year, each boasting a jaw-dropping performance hike that sees horsepower rise to around 573bhp each.

The 0-62mph sprint time has also been improved upon in both models, down to just 4.2 seconds in the M5 and 4.1 seconds in the M6 Coupe and Grand Coupe.
Those opting for the slightly heavier M6 convertible will have to make do with 4.2 seconds.

At the back, new taillights also make sure motorists following know what they're dealing with.
