Well, wonder no more. Miniature car-builder Pocket Classics is offering a range of new models, including shrunken versions of iconic classics such as the Aston Martin DB5, Jaguar E-Type and Ferrari 205 California Spider.
And, with a choice of an electric or 110cc petrol motor, no pedalling is necessary. These mini convertibles are capable of hitting 46mph, meaning they're better off in the hands of responsible adults, rather than little ones - or at least that's what you can tell them.
It takes three months to build each of the faithful miniaturisations, which, measuring 7' 6" long, are just big enough for big kids to drive.
The petrol models are capable of 250mpg and are fitted with a three-speed semi-automatic gearbox, making them the ideal tool for the urban commute, sort of. They're technically not road legal at present, but the company is working hard to change that.
If you fancy one, Pocket Classics is currently open to orders. They aren't cheap, though - an AC Cobra replica costing around £8,000. If you're finding it difficult to justify that to your other half, you can always remind them that a real one would be on the wrong side of £600,000.
