Bugatti Veyron now available for hire

As one of the world's most rarefied cars, it is perhaps unsurprising that the Bugatti Veyron, with its famous £1million price tag, has also become one of the most expensive cars to rent in the world.

UK-based Holders Vehicle Contracts has put the record-breaking car on its books, making it available for £45,000 for the weekend.
If that's a bit of a stretch, the company is offering it on a per-day basis for a bargain £16,500.

The model available is one of the original production run, which took the global speed crown back in 2005, reaching a then unheard-of top speed of 254mph.
Since then, the Veyron model line has been diluted with a countless number of special editions, which include both individual customer commissions and the Super Sport variant - a more powerful and aerodynamic version created by Bugatti with the specific purpose of regaining the production car speed record from the Americans and their SSC Ultimate Aero.

Holders Vehicle Contracts offers an array of top-tier supercars for rental to flush motoring enthusiasts. Fancy making an entrance in a black Ferrari Enzo? That'll be £8,000 a day. A Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is a comparative snip, costing just £1,995 for a day's use.

Other cars in the company's impressive collection include a Rolls-Royce Phantom (chauffeur driven only), a V12 Lamborghini Murcielago and an Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
