Mark Coombe had only just started the position with the League One side on a trial basis over the summer, but was so distraught by his mishap he immediately walked out.
Coombe drove the minibus from the club's Chapel Road training ground and hit the stationary vehicles while attempting to park at the Boundary Park stadium in Greater Manchester, reported the Manchester Evening News.
A source close to the club said to the newspaper: "He was distraught and walked out of the club as soon as it happened. We haven't seen him since and we think he is really depressed about it.
"We've tried to get in touch with him but have not been able to manage it. We're quite worried about him."
One of the damaged cars is thought to belong to Anton Rodgers, son of Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers.
Another is owned by youth team player Will Kinder, who has only just passed his driving test.
The youngster later took to twitter to moan about his damaged car, saying: "Trust it to be my car someone drives a minibus into."
His car required a replacement bumper and brake light.
Ironically Oldham Athletic is linked to a local driving school, which offers refresher driver training courses, claiming to improve ability and confidence behind the wheel. Perhaps the luckless kitman might be able to wangle a staff discount, should he ever return to his role at the club.
