Almost a year ago, I reported about an unlikely alliance between Lexus and Australian songstress Kylie Minogue. Besides fronting the advertising campaign, Kylie herself had her own CT200 h.
Well, after just a matter of months, Kylie's Lexus was auctioned off last week, with the proceeds going to the NSPCC.
Considering the most expensive CT 200h costs £30,950, the £29,000 someone bid for the Kylie car maybe seems a bit disappointing. Especially when you consider that she had made her mark on the quirky hybrid car too, with personalised headrests with Kylie's signature picked out in the upholstery stitching.
Still, Kylie, who is an NSPCC ambassador, said of the sale: "I would just like to say a huge thank you to the generous bidder who bought my personalised Lexus CT 200h, which I have been driving around for the past year."
